welp i think i broke something. I am not for sure how fixable the problem is exactly. I have been havign the well known KA chain rattle from the head noise for awhile now, with no issues besides some noise, and i have been putting it off i admit. But tonight i went out for a nice little drive, not hard or anything and the nosie has increased dramatically and the car wants to shutdown when clutch is depressed, so i have to give it little bits of gas to keep it runnin. tomarrow i will inspect further by gettin up under the bish and pullign the valve cover just to see how dramatic the damage is. Updates will follow int eh next 12 hours, trust me on this.

anyone who might haev gone through this let me know, cause i may just pull the motor and drop in a decent running one since i know i can do it in a solid day of hard work.

did it happen to sound like real bad ticking at 2k-3k rpm's?, if so then yeah it might be rod knock, which can make the car stall.

if it was rod knock, would there be loss of power also? i just dont know the symptoms f rod knock besides the bearings going to **** and allowing the rod to kinda move however it wants.
