Hey guys I was wondering who should I contact about becoming a vendor. I've been doing Powder Coating since October as a hobby, and would like to extend my services to our members.

I spoke to WDRacing in the KA-T forums and stated that Nico was offering vendor accounts for small shop people who cant afford to Pay the hefty vendor costs?

If Greg or one of the admins can point me in the right direction.

Heres a few example of my work.

Greg is in Carlisle this weekend for the big NICO meet.

Give him a few days and I'm sure he'll get back to you.

What's the largest piece you can do?

Meaning, what size is your baking device?

I'm thinking about getting my LTR450 powdercoated.

Also, what would it cost to powdercoat a set(4) ATV wheels. Deep sparkle blue would be my preference to match the frame

Are you set up to do larger items? Such as Wheels?

Replied Repo Man.

As for size, if it can fit your standard kitchen oven than it can fit my oven. The largest wheels I can do is 17".

I rarely do wheels, I usually stick to smaller items like valve covers, etc. But I have done wheels before and I must say its a pain in the *** LOL.

If I were you it'd be easy to increase size.

What's the required temp for the powdercoat to melt and "plastisize"?

You could weld up a steel box large enough to put whatever you want in it. Then just keep a wood, gas, or coal fire going under it for heat Alot cheaper then using the oven

The problem is space. My friend was kind enough to let have some space in his garage to powder coat. I in return pay the difference in his electric bill and whenever he wants something painted I dont charge him.

Also another problem is I dont have the equipment to effectivly strip larger items. I strip everything by hand by using chemical strippers, acetone, and a fine wire brush wheel. I bought a blast cabinet to speed up the process but I broke the gun and havent gotten around to fixing it.

Also I like doing small things as I get to spend more time on it to make sure you guys get a great product and if I mess up wont take long to fix

In order to properly cure powdercoating, the part has to reach a temp of 370-400 and stay there for about 20mins depending on the size of the item.
