So I've never actually made a thread like this - I guess it's a photo shoot time for Marlin!

Pics were taken after a 4 hour frenzy with the car....wash, clay bar, wash again, Meguiars Cleaner wax, Meguiars Gold Class wax, and Stoners on the windows....

Enjoy!

Dayum, I just spent 6 hrs over 2 days this week on my car as well. 2 hours on the interior vaccum and glass (inside), did the floor mats n all that

4 hours washing exterior, cleaning door, trunk, gas lid, hood jambs. mother's wax, and glass with gunk + newspaper (<- the easiest way to get streak free clean glass).

Now I just need somebody to recommend a tried product for our interior plastics because my blacks won't stay black and look way too dried.

mmm interior plastics i have been using meguiars supreme shine to protect my plastics and hard surfaces first wiping on with a polish microfiber cloth and then wiping excess back off and going over afterwards with a quick interior detailer from meguiars as well. I usually clean them before hand with straight water and cleaning microfiber cleaning cloth.

clean it every 1 - 2 weeks depending on how dirty

you got 2 dents on your hood near your burger?

Don't worry...I have my fair share of dings and such - I'm just really good at hiding/repairing them - I got stuck behind a dumbass the other day with loose gravel flying out of the bed of his truck on the way home from work...I was not happy.

Thanks for all the comments guys!

LBC - they're custom, one of a kind limited edition

Yup, I95 will do that to you....I got the scratches out for the most part but on that part of the hood, it's really hard to try and get the mini-dents out...

Stoners does wonders! I did have some hard water spots (from all the rain, and we have hard well water as well), but using Stoners and newspaper really does the trick!

we have officially come around 360 degrees... are we actually back to the point we were 2 years ago when we would go gaga over a 100% stock Altima coupe...

are we amazed ata. the car, b. the cleaning job, orc. the fact that his car still looks brand new after 2 years...

I vote C... ad in that case, yes I'm impressed.. but, I never reallly liked the way my Altima looked stock... not the wheels, not the 4x4 look...

Damn I95 sux down near you too!? They've been repaving it up here in MA for weeks now. One day they ripped up the highway and I almost cried as I heard a hail storm of rocks bouncing off my car. Got tons of tiny chips on the bumper and a couple on the hood cuz of it.

Wonder if I can make the state pay to repaint the bumper? hmm..

I think that you are right doc. The fact that he has taken such great care of the car this long, yet has not modded it(which baffles me) is impressive.

PS: I had to show my fiance the pics. She actually said to me the other day that she forgot what the car looked like when we got it.

That's why God gave us Photoshop.

Jdeb: That's why I always took 495 and 3 when I lived in Chelmsford. That, and when you live up there, Nashua's an easier destination than Boston, so there was never a real strong desire to take 95 anywhere. :P

Unfortunately I have to drive to work in Woburn everyday and thats pretty much the only way there. I swear road debris is magnetically drawn to my car. Another rock put a small chip in my windshield again today! UGH!

Nothing I love better than when my car is freshly waxed and shining in the sun. I'll sit and stare at it and swear I can watch it getting dirty as it sits there. It is black after all.

I washed mine today, then it rained. I don't even know why I wash it anymore. It's pointless with the black paint. FML.
