Beautiful Car?

Alright, I was wondering, on the scale of one to ten, Would this KIND of car be worth it? I have a bud who is confused...Supra....or 3000gt vr4? I personally, hands down tied to a log going over a waterfall would say the VR4. But he has his mind set on around a 93 supra T. This is his first car, so i suggested VR4 because of AWD and twin T's , and Manual

NEVER GET A CAR THAT HAS BEEN MAJORLY MODIFIED. THE REASON BEING IF HE MESSED SOMETHING UP YOUR GOING TO HAVE TO PAY FOR IT. ITS ALSO BETTER FOR PIECE OF MIND TO DO THE WORK OR FARM OUT THE WORK YOUSELF.

i bought a car majorly modified. sr20det and whatnot

but seriously, i would avoid heavily modded cars UNLESS you know the work is good. The guy I bought my car off of is a Nissan mechanic, so I knew that the swap had been done properly. Check to see how old the mods are or how long they've been in. Also check to see if he did the majority of the big ones himself, or did he take it to a shop to get done

I thought also you couldn't rebuild trannies in the VR4 you had to buy them new at 7K a pop. Also i believe the car weighs almost 4 thousand pounds. Also you could be running 13s with a few thousand invested. Just my view. I also have to agree never buy a majorly modded car. Nick

I meant KIND of car, what he is really looking at is a VR4 with rebuilt engine, K&n system setup, others etc. Only dea is that it says the Twin T's are disconnected right now?

Either way, I was asking opinion on the 300gt type, not the modded one, just thot that one was pretty

I want one, no lie, but I like my 240 also

THE 3000GT IS A GREAT CAR BUT RIDDLED WITH TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS (LIKE MOST MITSU CARS), THE SUPRA COMMANDS A HIGHER PRICE TAG BUT IS A WELL BUILT CAR (ALTHOUGH TOYOTA SEQUENTIAL SYSTEMS SUCK). EITHER CAR THEY'LL BE HAPPY WITH UNTIL THEY GET THERE FIRST MAJOR REPAIR (MITSU WOULD BE transmission, AND TOYOTA WOULD BE THE TURBOS OR THE FUEL INJECTORS)
