I have a Q45 parked in front of my 300zx project.
Do I build the VG30DETT, or swap in the VH45 and turbo it?
I'm tempted and conflicted.

Hey Holeset,
That engine sounds nicely tuned (wide open anyway...) I'm also NZ based and have just gone through all your posts on this site. The lube issues/possible fixes are quite interesting. Like Ozzie above, I have a Z32 with a VH45DE that was running but with a modified donor Q45 auto trans and +turbo. After a couple of years losing hair trying to finesse a piggy back plus OEM ECU combo I've gone the standalone Link G4 route like you. After making up new engine bay looms for new RB coils and 740cc injectors I'm in the middle of configuring the Link to run it all. Are you willing to share your ecu configuration/maps as a start point? I have a G4+ but don't imagine major differences...I've set up my PM's. Cheers.

no probs, im having trouble sending you a PM and I dont have any in my inbox, ill download the map/tune and post here, Im running the very first firmware that the G4 came out with and does have issues with compatibility with more recent firmware versions but should still be good for a base, might even be almost bang on, ill try and get it this week , Im away for work over next couple of days

you need the very first version of PC Link to read this file

and the first Firmware version of Link G4 to run this tune properly
