No. I just test drove on of these this weekend. It does 0-60 in like 6.5 seconds @ 200hp. Its faster than the 2.5.

On the other hand, I have a 3.5L and my buddy has a 2008 GTI 2.0T and he couln't even keep up with me. It wasn't even close. The R32 would be a different story. That is one bad VW !!

You would beat the r32 to 0-60 and 100 but after that hell prob beat u. And off the line itll look like hes got u but our 0-60 is better depending on if your a good driver. My buddys got one of the r32's those things are beastly and a gti will def beat our 2.5 unless u get a turbo lol
