Hi, I cannot understand which bearings do I need. I will get the crank ground and need to get .25mm mains, but which of these?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...91405h ... 30541About MS1565 I was told "The 1565's have an overlength flange, do you want that or check out MS2073. That one is a standard length flange."

Help!

i am not sure if either of those would work. i would advise getting stock bearings from a dealership as they are very forgiving. the hi-po clevite bearings are made for high loads and as such are not forgiving of imperfection on assembly or lubrication. remember the bearing does not do the work, the oil does the work.

I hope to put on them at least twice the load they were meant for...Besides it's cheaper and easier to get them for me...Why wouldn't they work?

well, if you want to use them be sure to cross referece the part numbers with clevite so you know you are getting the right parts. they should work if they are the right part.

Easier way. Have the crank shop you're getting your crank ground at do the bearing sizing for you if you're so set on the Clevite.

I'm not "set" on Clevites, it's just that they are cheaper than OEM and to everyone's opinion they are very good.I can't let the shop get them... Must buy them myself...

Clevites are pretty good. I've got the T77's in my build. However, why can't the shop get them? I find that pretty suspicious. If you're getting your crank ground by a reputable shop, they should be able to size your bearings. If they can't I'd look into their history as a crank shop cuz that doesn't sound right to me.
