Kinda unrelated, but if you're going to swap out the pistons, please swap out those rods man. They are a weak link. I'd hate to see you go through a rebuild just to toss a rod down the road. Fiznat did the same thing you are, swapped pistons and used brand new factory rods. Then tossed the #3 through the side of the block.

You're not trying to make 300whp with those 370cc injectors right?

I dont plan to pass the 300 hp, even, I am ok if my setup makes 250 at least. If the boost bite me, I have a 550cc set ready to order, just want to get a feeling for boost, get use to it and then, if needed upgrade

Let me be a little more specificThe bearings and rings I am looking for is size standard, for stock compression pistons.I am refreshing the engine and upgrading the pistons right now, later on, I plan to add rods if I need them (hope not)Any special coatings or specs to look for. I am inclined towards ACL or Clevite bearings and Total seal rings set. What do I have to look for, other than price ans sizes?

You will get a set of rings with your Arias pistons. I run them and make more power than anybody and they are in perfect shape.

I run Clevite bearings and they work perfectly. No issues what so ever.

We sell both the Arias pistons and the Clevite bearings. We also sell the Calico bearings which are coated ACLs. Chris runs them in his motor and so far they seem to be another good choice.

I agree with 9sec240 on his bearing recommendation. You won't go wrong with Clevite or ACL. Are you having your block or head machined at all? New head gasket? Are you file fitting your rings? Any crank measuring?

I would run larger injectors than 370cc for a shot at 300 whp. I'd go for 440's. What are you using for tuning?

head and block are in excellent condition as well as all reciprocating parts. I mentioned 300 just as a probably goal, lets see hw this setup works and then will decide what I need. For sure more fuel.As for what I am using for tunning. I will use a JWT ECU for stock MAF and 370 inj, trimmed via a SAFC. My next step will be upgrading the MAF, adding some sort of programable (Biki or Enthalpy) with maybe 550. But that is,if I really need them.My main goal for now is to build up and start the engine, then after some dyno and street time, will decide. Thats why I am looking for reliability in bearings. I dont want to be changing them or machining the block if I decide to upgrade the rods later on.So basically, Clevite and ACL are the preffered ones?
