So I recently purchased clevite77 main and rod bearings from AMS and I just realized on the main bearings box it says," Flange bearing is .15mm oversize length".

Is this normal? the part number on the box is MS-1949p 7285M. Do I have a STD set or is this oversized set?

cheaper to buy new bearings than grind a crank. Did you measure thrust clearance?

Agreed, if you send them back I'm sure they'll send you the correct set.
