Alright 280hp s12 only lasted 12 hours go figure until I spun a bunch of bearings. So as the next step in CA madness for me is to replace the bearings and swap the unscratched crank that I have back into the block and see how long before the next thing breaks. So yeah when I was trying to find out what grade bearing I should use I ran into a problem. The good crank is a little retarded and only has 1 line of hard to understand info.... Here is the pic.

Hopefully someone can tell me if nissan used the number 2 or if they just stamped the #1 twice to signify the #2. Also where is the second set of numbers go. All help is appreciated.

ooh man I thought my sh*t was hard to decipher......whover punched those numbers into your crank is a tune bag, horrible workmanship.

my crank consisted of roman numerals.....two II stamped next to each other signified 2.

Ima see If I cant stare at yours for a bit and figure it out.

Its supposed to be one on top the other....not side by side like they have it.

bastards.

Ok Im coming up with:

Mains - 1 1 2 1 3Rods - 2 1 1 2

There are corresponding numbers on the oil pan mating surface that your probably aware of.
