it has a decent amount of buildup inside of it, would it be a good idea to bead blast the entire inside and outside of it? Ive tried some brake cleaner and scrubbing/ wiping but bead blasting would be alot easier haha and it only costs me $20 for the whole manifold what do you think?

Get it pressure washed with hot water. I was going to bead blast mine at one of my jobs before but instead I just hit it with the companies hot watered pressure washer and it came out NIIICE!

If you bead blast it, what type of beads are you looking to shoot it with?

Use glass bead on it in a cabinet or else use a steam cleaner on it. If you blast it, be sure to plug the bolt holes to protect the threading. Also be sure to clean thoroughly w/an air gun. Last thing you want is blast media going through your engine.

Bead blasting with glass and then walnut shells.

dude! just pull off your air filter and suck beach sand in your intake! it also polishes your ports!

honestly i think some kind of steam cleaning or pressure washing would be the safest, or you could bead blast it and just rinse/blow it out thoroughly as mentioned before.

Would have to agree with the steam cleaning your sh*t bro, it should be a lot easier too But if you are getting it done for $20 then shouldn't be that bad...

HAHA THAT is EXACTLY what mine looks like lol, the reason i used walnut media was for the inside because the glass does not bounce around as much as the walnut does so the inside wasnt getting very clean.

Basically either i run the stock manifold or i run an ISIS manifold temporarily until i save enough money for the greddy or until they make a cold pipe for the new version of the Greddy Intake manifold with longer runners.

Anyone know if the ISIS intake manifold is as good of quality as the stock intake manifold? like the casting and materials?
