BOO canadian engine import scams

HOORAY IFCC (internet fraud complaint center/FBI, google, FTW)

i got back money from a bad $1500 ebay transaction (5 lcd monitors) and the IFCC was one the things i made sure i did. an agent contacted me and got lots of info, it took some time, but a year later i got all my money back

hey, not all canadian import companies are scams, just this one, i thought most people knew that though.

anywho, http://www.jdmsource.ca is a very good, reputable business. So what all do you need to complete your swap, i might be able to dig some stuff up for you

What I've read is that OsakaJDMmotors is fine as long as you're picking up the engine yourself and not having them ship it w/o you seeing it.

then again, I guess that's true with everything.

Dude, i dont know what your talking about, but I ordered my motor from there and they were quick to ship out and sent me a good motor.

My friend bought his s14 sr20det from there as well and they shipped him out a great motor as well.

dude, on the website it says nothing about an uncut harness, or ignitor or maf.....if you were worried about these things, and not actually handpicking your motor you need to contact the people selling the stuff to see what they are actually giving you.

The problem he's having is that they sent him the wrong harness and ecu. If it was an SR, I'd tell him not to be too worried about it, but picking up CA Harness's and ECU's can be a bit tricky.

I'd call them one more time and tell them you're going to call the IFCC. Give them 3 business days, and let them know that's all the more time they are getting. If they don't respond, then call the IFCC and get a fire lit up under their arses!
