I see a lot of Rice haters and Trolls in 240 General lately.

Lets be nice to some of the newbies. Not every change they want to make to their car is rice, and not every one of them is an idiot, so try helping them out for a change.

Example: Instead of saying, "That's rice. Don't do it" try giving them an alternative and a suggestion on why they should do it differently. Just telling them, "That's ricey" doesn't give anyone any help, and makes you look like a troll.

I know a lot of newbies can find lots of information by using the search button. I sometimes feel that the way it's presented to the new guys suggests they are idiots. I don't really like that either.

I agree with everything said. Sometimes you cant find what you need with a search, and it's easier to ask. If you know the answer, post. If you don't, don't post. It's pretty easy.

Our SEARCH function is broken, it doesn't yeild any decent results. So we now have to answer everythread unless you manually link them to the info, which takes quite a bit of reading.

Good posting there...nothing turns me off than rudeness and lack of manners, and thats in general. Regardless of car, age, I.Q.,etc.....A lot of guys get away with it (in other 240 groups..) because they are buddies of the moderators, but if is somebody else you get banned to heck for years to come....NiCO sets a good and fair standing when it comes to rules of engagement.....
