Couple Buying Car in Freeport, Gets Robbed

FREEPORT, N.Y. (AP) -- A Pennsylvania couple who thought they were getting a good deal on a Porsche got robbed on the streets of Freeport, where they had arrranged to look at the car.

Nassau County police say the 34-year-old husband and wife had arranged via the Internet to meet the sellers on Rose Street, to buy the 2006 Porsche. They were met at 6:15 p.m. Monday by a female and as they got out of their car to say introduce themselves -- three or four men assaulted them.

Police say the wife lost her cell phone and the husband llost the cash he had brought to buy the car. Police didn't say how much was taken.

Police also wouldn't say if it was a planned set up.

I have some bad ones too. But for me it is just a morning thing. I am NOT a morning person.I used to leave in a highrise building. One morning I had to wake up earlier. Only anhour too early. I got in the elevator and the door is closed behind me and I just stand there and stand and ....stand. After a minute I realized the god damn thing not even moving. i forgot to push the bottom.

My son knows it too. He asks money in the morning because he knows I am too tired to ask questions.

I'm sure it was like 15k for a 60k+ car.....which to a person with half a brain would know it was a scam anyways. If something is too good to be true, it probably is. WOW is all i can say haha.
