Do I really need to go to a dealer to program a used bcm?

looks like a mobile locksmith with a capable OBD II interface can also program the keys... but, did you confirm the old one was bad to begin with?

but then another mobile tech had this problem with nissans so maybe a stealership may be the only way to go...
