I am considering these coilovers, anyone have any experience with them? I see alot of the guys are using Megan or D2.

Anyone have any experiences with the BC?

I am considering these for BC

I had D2 on mine... I was always told BC were very comparable to those... Not so much the Megan?? So either wary, I think both D2 and BC are a good choice!! :bigthumb:

Also looking for opinions on ride quality, etc. as I will be likely doing coils in the spring as soon as I know there will be no more salt/snow.

Any adjustability issues with D2? I guess the G guys can't get to the rear adjusters without doing some serious work.

EDIT:

Being a Maxima guy for many years before my switch to the M...I found thread: http://forums.maxima.org/5th-generation ... ion-4.html

Very informative and I have made my decision. BC it is.

both are made in Taiwan. that doesn't mean they are bad. its just i think both done in the same factory but each get different name.

So I wonder if D2 would be better since so far I am showing they are the cheapest route between the two

BC's are like $50 more (you can find them for $995 shipped). D2's are like $940 or something.

I saw that there are two BC types on their site the BR and ER apparently the BR have a ride quality rating of an 8 and the ER has a 10, I wonder whats the big difference beside another K of $$$

ER is more for tracked cars as far as I read. BR is what I think everyone who has BC's on this car runs. At least on this forum.

Now to compare BC and D2 since i am able to narrow down which BC to get now..... anyone know the ride difference? I do know its according to preference but I would take a majority vote. But from the looks on the forum, alot of the M's on here seem to be using D2 and I am curious to the reason

probly because they dont have the spring off the coilover like the other coilover's. Easier to dial in ride and its a true coilover set up.

So the rear perch just goes unused? Does it lessen the ride quality at all? And besides being easier to dial-in...any other benefit?
