bc coilovers spring problem!! URGENT!!

im installing my coilovers right now and ran into some problems

the spring for the rear is too big with the springs rubbing on the bucket it sits on.
is there a different or 2.5 and 3.5 springs?? cause i dont think there is

It's the same springs.

thats what i thought.

sorry i cant post a pic but the how the spring is sitting in the bucket it will rub against it because the spring's diameter is way too big for the bucket

Try turning it upside-down. I don't remember the way it sits in mine, but I know it's a tapered thing. One end of the spring is tighter than th eother.

well i bought these used so the seller might given me the wrong springs

because the springs compared to the stock ones are a lot wider in diameter. do you remember if yours was like this too??

I don't remember. I installed mine early in the summer. I'd give you pictures, but I won't have a cable to connect to my computer until I get home late tonight. They should look like a cone, not a straight cylinder.

yeahh and did you notice one side is bigger than the other by just a little and both of the springs rotate the same direction??

The two springs should be the same size.

yeah i know

i just forgot to take it and then when i realized it ive already put the OEM ones in and was too lazy to put it back on and then take the picture again. but when i do ill let you guys know or if any of you can take a picture of how the rear springs sit i can compare to mine and just figure it out

yeah he gave me the wrong springs lol cause when i saw it, i was like no... this cant be right, im not tripping cause they dont even fit so hes gonna sent me the right ones hopefully haha
