Ive had these in now for about a year and a half on my 09 G37xs. I like what they do and how they feel but the rears both have a rattle. I have spent a significant amount of time trying to figure out what it could be. New sway bar links, new bushings, new suspension bushings etc. The last couple of days I wound up taking out the rear struts and dont you know it, dead silent. Now Im 100% sure they are the problem. When I hold them in my hand they seem tight and no rattles. As an insurance measure I put them on the bench and tightened down the top nut onto the shaft while holding the shaft with an allen wrench. It turned a little but not much. The big threaded collar nut is tight as can be. I put it back in and needless to say the rattle came back just as bad. I made very sure the two nuts holding it up into the body are nice and tight.
At this point Im thinking they belong in the dumpster but before I do this Id love to hear any opinions.

Probably need to send bc technical dept an email and they should have an answer for you. You have done everything I would have recommended.

Mine are only noisy in the cold which is annoying.

Contact BC like Mike said and let us know what happens.
