Does anyone one use these on their daily driver? The product description says for off road use only. I was wondering if they’re any legitimate reason not to use them on the street. I know a lot of exhaust companies put that same disclaimer in their products description.

Also if anyone has first hand experience using them and can provide some feedback, thanks.

the only thing I can think of is ride comfort totally being tossed out the window for a harsher ride.

but its probably some legality thing that companies do to cover their asss in case anything goes wrong or something. Almost everything aftermarket (if not all) say "for offroad use only" hell, I've even seen shift knobs say that

Although this is an old thread i'd thought i should put my input for these arms as i recently installed them on my daily driver.

First off, i would not recommend installing these on a daily driver. I was forewarned by the man himself (Alex P.) when he installed them on my car at G-Dimensions. He also warned my to keep an eye on them as they tend to get loose with street driving. He was right. I went through the insides of my tires in a month. Apparently the control arms got loose, messing up my camber and eventually my toe which is what ruined my tires. Depending on the roads that you drive in you may need to check on the arms every week to every other week to make sure nothing gets loose.

Im currently in the process of removing the arms and going back to stock arms with some reinforced rubber until my car becomes track-only. I believe this is another reason why they are off road only.

On the other hand, the ride wasnt much harder than before but the steering felt slightly heavier than i remember.

i actually bought these 2 yrs back, when i was in college. i had another car at the time and iirc the bushings were just bad but i had extra money and wanted my front end suspension to be robust. Back in the day i wanted my car ready for "drift" so i ended up buying these but never installed since i soon found out that car had a bad frame. I just recently installed them since my current car needed new bushings and since these were just in storage, i'd thought "why not just do these now". So yea, initially they were bought for drifting.

I've been running the SPL version for a few years now on my summer dd, with NO problems whatsoever. The primary reason they state fro off-road use is because if something happens to affect them, it tends to be catastrophic. They generally don't bend like the factory sheet metal, they shatter. I can't speak on the BV ones, but the SPL's haven't loosened up or mis-adjusted on me yet. Your heim joints on the BV's are not sealed, so they do need constant attention as far as cleaning and lubrication. after driving in the rain or wet, dry them out EVERY TIME and re-lube them or they'll rot up quickly! Don't forget to have these installed, or at least set up at a RACE alignment facility, due to the fact they will change your roll center, and other alignment settings and can greatly affect the handling of the car--good or bad.

I have had battle versions on my car for 2 years with no problems what so ever. The ride is little ruffer and the steel bushing make noise on really bumpy roads. It probally doesn't help that my car is gutted and the sound deadining has been removed. I daily drove my car for about a year with KTS coilovers and Battle version. It's now a week end warrior/cruiser.

I have some ebay knock off LCAs and I took one look at them when I recieved them and there is no way they are going on my car! I will either get the spl LCAs or just custom make one by using the ebay inner bushing/adjuster and cutting my stock LCA and welding the balljoint side the to it. there use to be a kit that you could do this but I havent seen it in a while and I forgot who makes it.
