I'm looking to upgrade my battery cause my added electronic (alarm siren) have drained my battery twice and it doesn't look good at a new job!

Any recommendations on what I coudl add and if I ahve to do any modding to get it to fit where the stock battery is now?

I don't know much about alarm installs but wouldn't it be better to get a small secondary battery for the alarm rather than only upgrading the OEM? If your battery is disconnected underhood the alarm is dead. The secondary battery is another security layer.

that's a good idea too I plan on going both routes.

Does the kinetic need any modding or is it just drop and plug in?

well, sort of... the positive and negative on the kinetik are opposit of what they are on our cars... so I had to extend the negative wire in order to reach the negatove post on the battery... and for the positive, i had to take the factory fuse box that our cars come with, and straighten it out and hook it up that way... I'll try to find a picture of it here somewhere...

also, for a backup battery, you can get the DEI 520t .. that should work with most aftermarket alarms...

when you say "straighten", "pull" and "stretch"; were these things hard to do or as simple as it sounds??

How much extra wattage, amp or whatever unit it's measured in does this battery have over the stock?
