battery terminal replacement

hi i was wondering if anyone replace their battery terminals before? i did a search and couldnt come up with much,i tightened down my battery terminal all the way but they are still loose around the battery knobs anyone else has this problem?

go to your local autoparts store and get those battery terminal then you have to strip your wires and bolt it on the terminal

Those bolt on terminal ends are really just meant for temporary repair. I'd recommend getting a whole new cable. The bolt on ends seem to collect corrosion really fast and it will travel down the wire inside the jacket requireing a replacement eventually anyway.

what about that little red box it look like some sort of sensors on the postive battery terminal what does it do ? it looks sorta important.

or you could put a cotter pin in there as a quick fix for the time being

it's probably a fuse of somesort. most manufacturers like to but the alternator fuse right there. you need that. very easy to put a new one in if you need to.
