ok i did a search for this type of thing but didn't come up with any solutions... what the hell is all that crap that connects to the positive terminal? and is it posible to just cut the wires from all that junk, strip all of em, and bind them all together using a 0-gauge connector?

the reason why i'm asking is because there is a competition tomorrow and i need to install my shiat fast... i have Monster battery terminals and 2-gauge power wire... i'm not even going to redo the ground from the neg terminal, that's how budget and fast i need need to do this :D

um. . . don't splice them together. . . unless you want just about every electronic system in your car to fail all at the same time. . .

It shouldn't really matter if you choose to do it like that, they're all touching the positive power terminal. The electronics stuff would be ok, you have fuses installed on all of them, and if not, hey you can always put fuses on yourself.

if you are referring to the conection that links your power wire to the battery, all it is terminal connector, you can get one at a local electronic store for like 15 bucks i think.......

thats all i would recomend, nothing less, nothing more

Former_240, there are a few wires that are coming out of the positive terminal besides the main power wire, I have no idea what they go to but they are covered up by that red post cover.

I am not sure on the exact use or destination of those wires......a good handy FSM would be of service right about now, lol.

if you use a gold plated connector, you would be fine as long as you have a fuse b/n the battery and amp........

aight... well i'm gonna try splicing all those wires together, and crimping them into a 2 gauge connector, should fit over the positive terminal post... then i'll just throw my battery terminal connector on top of it and connect the 2-gauge to it...

somone else said that if i spliced them all together, i could fuk up a lot of things... this true?

how have you guys hooked up your power wire to the positive terminal?

with a gold plated connection from monster cable.......I just crimped it on the power wires, and stuck it on that screw that tighttens the postive cable to the battery............does this answer your question?

ya that's what i did too, but that is SOOO ghetto man... that's a very poor connection, and i only did that for a temporary fix... i have a monster battery terminal connector that i want to use since it's worth $25 US:

this will give a much better connection for my 2 gauge i think...

all of those wires lead to the positive battery terminal anyways... putting them together should not mess anything up as they are all connected at the post. I know that my nissan terminal corroded and i actually had to flip it over for it to stay on the post. If you took all those wires and crimped ring terminals on them and then attached them at the same point (at a screw as on that monster terminal pictured above) then that would be fine... just make sure that they are secure and would not separate easily.
