what is the worse thing that could happen to you/your car if you were to jump start someone and you put the jumper on all four terminals?Or what would happen if you put it on the frame of the car that had the good battery and put it on the terminal on the bad batttery?

please respond asap and tell which case you have an answer for.

First off, to jump a car, you are suppose to use all four terminals. Both ends have a red and black clip that bites onto the battery. To jump it, you have to connect the red and black clip on one end to the red and black terminals on one car, then on the other side, connect the red and black to the other car's red and black battery terminals. As for the second method, it's basically the same as the first but I guess in hopes that the alternator will provide the power instead of the battery.

As for the worst thing... probably a burned out computer if you accidentally switched the polarity say black to red and red to black. If you remove it quick enough, probably nothing but if not, lots of things.

Negative terminal from good car goes to a ground on the dead car, you ideally should not connect all 4.

+ (good car) to + (dead car)

- (good car) to groundpoint (dead car)

If you switch polaritys, get ready for a spark show or wait long enough and you will see a battery explode. Stand back.
