i recently got a optima yellow top battery for my 240 someone told me bc the cold cranking amps on the old battery was 550 and on the new one its 750 that i can burn out the wireing harness ..is this true?Thanks

No.

At least not in practice... Many guys been running these batteries for years.

Also, only info I could find on internet only talks about "wasting money on too high CCA" not anything about destroying ur harness.

nah. I've been using the same 34R Optima redtop starter battery in my last 3 vehicles and had no problems with it. I've had it in my 240SX for the past year and a half and the 800CCA it provides is great, even in the -40 degree weather I get here.
