does anyone have a quick fix for a battery stay? mine's in the trunk and I used to have it ghetto rigged, but too many g's had a negative affect... is it something I can find at a parts store?

actually, it doesn't have to be a quick fix... simply where can I buy a battery stay instead of making my own?

just google it, they are kinda pricey if you want an aluminum one..... i just have the black plastic tray, its sturdy

drycell optima battery+battery cage= safe.

anything else=certain death.

go to walmart and get the marine black battery box. 10 bucks. bam. it has these 2 things you screw in to floor and then the strap goes under those and around the box then simply tighten and bam. instant stay.

no. do not use the marine battery box.
it is not strong enough to hold the battery in the event of an accident.

mine i've had 4 accidents all where i've been rear ended and side swiped. and the battery box didnt even come unbuckled. i wouldn't reccomend a POS to a fellow nico member.

thanks for the help... don't know if I need to go as hard core as the battery cage though.. walmart sounds more like my price range haha

its good stuff man. but i recommend making to metal things that screw into floor. because the ones it comes with are plastic.
