What have I learned? 1) If the battery is dead, a BUNCH of things won't work. B) Put the emergency tools in the car, not the trunk. .
Emergency tools do not belong in a vehicle
They could become deadly in case of an accident or a sudden stop.
Especially a hazard with children or other passengers in the vehicle.
All you need to do is leave the radio on all the time like I do
Whenever you press the ignition and not starting the car the radio will remind you to turn off the ignition.

A battery hydrometer is a cheap tool.
