Battery reversed- Repairing the damage

I bought My G35 off a friend that someone connected the battery backwards. I've been reading a lot of threads and forums. I'm making this summary page to help others while I figure out what is going on. The car drives fine now, but I have a few issues left

Here is what I have done so far;

• Replaced alternator
  Replaced Stereo fuse

Here are the remaining problems.

• Stereo -no power
  Heater runs, cant change fan speed and none of the buttons work. Set on 75 Auto
  Speedometer doesn't work
  ABS light on
  VDC light on
  Service engine soon light

Here are the codes;

• P0500
  P1212 (Power-train ABS communication)
  P1574 (Power-train)
  U1001 (network)

Here is what I plan to do;

• Replace ABS control module - Should fix ABS, VDC and speedometer
  Replace climate temp amplifier - Should fix the AC controls
  Remove/inspect stereo. Replace with factory if damaged.

If you have recommendations, Please post them.

Take it to an Infiniti dealer to have it thoroughly checked out and send the bill to your friend.

did you get this sorted? i have one with the exact same problem. what all did you have to replace?
