Has anyone changed the battery on a 2009 Murano? Good grief!!!!!! I want to send a pipe bomb to the designer.

How do i ge it out of there? Do i have to take that breather box (or whatever the heck it is) off first? How does that come off?

Changing a battery should be a 10 minute operation, but I've now spent an hour and I still don't have the darn thing out of there!

Really dumb question; why are you changing out the battery on a relatively new vehicle?

Looking at ours, I can see that when the day comes to make that change, I'll be taking it to my local Les Schwab and letting them struggle!

I figured it out, and yes, I had to change out that breather box (wasn't as hard as it seemed.)

It's really not that new. I already have 50,000 miles on it. The battery got drained hard with the ingnition left in the ON position several weeks ago, and last night it went dead with only minimal lighting left on for a while. It's really cold here right now, and I don't want to take any chances (it's my wife's vehicle now.) I bought a Gold one from Autozone which will probably last until we sell the vehicle.

Still, a 30 minute job took me 2.5 hours. ugh.
