not sure if this would be the right section, if it isn't, my apologizes. but i was wondering, with the 1999 altima, how there is two main power cables running to the positive terminal, can i just splice them into one and run one solid wire, of do i need to run 2 separates? thanks

Not 100% sure but they might not always be pulling the same power or not constantly pulling power, one could be your starter and the other to power everything else...? correct me if i am wrong here

actually i do think you're right because i followed it to the starter. i have it separated with a 2-1 connector which the 1 side attaches to the terminal. what if i keep theim on the 2-1 and bolt 1 extension wire to that?

That should work as long as the starter wire and the other power wire are still separate they will pull power when needed? if i understood you correctly
