battery relocation circuit breaker ?????

When a battery is relocated to the trunk in a 240sx and the battery (+) wire is connected to the fuse box is a circuit breaker necessary???

There wasn't one from the factory, so why would you need one now? I guess if it was high enough amperage that it didn't trip every time you try to start the car, it would be an extra safety measure (especially if your not very confident with how safe the power wire is from abrasion and grounding out on the body).
