Well I put the relay (it comes in it's own little case with a mount with all of the wiring connected to it) on the passenger side quarter panel area near the battery. I just wired it to the battery (which I just bolted it onto the factory positive terminal collar) and then ground (there's a factory ground right next to the battery). I ran the relays turn-on wire to the brights wire for the headlamps, so my lights only turn on when my brights are on. I ran the switch through the firewall hole next to the drivers kick panel and Velcro'd it onto the interior fuse panel behind the driver knee trim. The switch stays ON always so when I turn my brights on, the lamps turn on. If I need to turn my brights on without the PIAA lamps, I just open that change drawer and push the switch off.Empty V wrote:Another vote for the Optima YellowTop. I've beat the crap out of mine and it's never failed to crank instantly.
Off topic but Pwnin how did you wire your lights? I'm about to do mine.

Ahh good deal, you've got yours on the bullbar right? I was thinking since I've got HID's that I'd wire them direct to the battery and put a switch inline. Does this sound reasonable? Go Optima!Pwnin O’Brien wrote:

Yeah, mine are on my safari bar. Yeah, you can definitely do that. You may want to also wire an inline fuse to protect the lights.Empty V wrote:

Absolutely, I was going to throw a 20amp in there just for posterity.Pwnin O’Brien wrote:
