i just finished putting my SR back in my 240, and i'm having a problem whenever i hook up the battery. whenever i hook up the cables to the terminals, the FL100A fuse in the engine bay keeps blowing. the weird thing is when i turn the key, the fuel pump still comes on, but nothing else. would anyone know what is causing this problem? or does anyone know where it goes to so i can start from there?

i asked a few friends to see what their thoughts were on this, and a few thought it may be something grounded in the wrong spot. i've checked over the grounds and couldn't find anything where it didn't belong. another friend told me the fuse was either the alternator or battery fuse.

check the wiring and connections on your alternator, and make sure you dont have any frayed wires. This sounds like something in the wiring is in the wrong place. Also check the grounds on your ECU plug

got it figured out today, the metal terminal coming from the power wire for the alternator was touching part of the alternator, making it ground out and blow the fuse.

thanks though!
