Hi All

So... 12 years later and I have the engine back in and I'm connecting up the electrical and now I can't remember where the ground cable bolts to the block. It seems like the middle connector of the cable bolts below the battery tray to the frame there and then the cable goes ??

There is a protrusion of the intake manifold with a threaded bolt hole that the cable would reach, does it bolt to the aluminium? My gut says to bolt it to the steel block. I spent a half hour looking at pictures on Google hoping to get a glimpse of where it connects but couldn't find clear picture.

Just for clarification I'm talking about the large gauge black wire with the yellow strip from battery negative.

My freaking bolt broke off in that hole, so now mine bolts to a different spot on the manifold (and not the chassis anywhere).
I have pretty beefy engine grounds though.
