battery lite on

i just put in a new battery and recently ive noticed that the battery lite is comes on sometimes.. bad ground? everything is tightly connected 2 the battery. maybe the alternator is shot? its a 92 240sx SE and no i dont have a system in my car but it had one once.. before i replaced the battery. neone got any ideas?

Better get that alt. checked out. It could be just a loose belt on the alternator, loose connection at the alt., or bad alt.
