For the past few weeks my battey light has been on and gets brighter when i turn my lights on. I have charged the battery and checked all of the connections and grounds. It doesnt seem to have a charging problem as my battery has never died and did the same thing after i charged the battery all night. Does anyone have an idea of where to start looking?

What is the voltage? should be 12.6 on the battery and about 13.5 - 14.5 if more that can cause a light to come on on some cars not to sure about the 240 the alternator might be overcharging and sending more power threw out the car and when the lights are on there is more demand for power and the alternator gets loaded more making more power

Normaly it is about 13.5 - 14.5 volts with anywhere from 15 - 30 amps
