battery kill

the last owner of my car relocated the battery to the truck and i know it has to be in a box, but do i really need a kill switch too race also??

Check with your specific racing class rulebook, it should say in there.

If this car is a dedicated race car I would recomend a kill switch that is clearly marked and that can be reached from the drivers position as well as from the pasenger side.

It will be vitle in the event of catastrophic crash and you are injured.

if you plan on racing at the track then yes, if not then its not necessarily needed, but is a saftey feature. I personally dont skip out on saftey equipment, do you?

yes, you will need one that is accessible from the outside of the car, in case you crash, they can kill the battery power. if its a street car, get one by moroso or someone that the switch is actually keyed so you can take it out when drivin on the street so nobody turns it or breaks it off. people are jerks.
