thanks for the reply, We tried to turn the crankshaft harmonic balancer and it didn't budge. Does that mean the engine is seized and the starter is blowing the fuse trying to start a dead engine or is this normal?VStar650CL wrote: ↑Sat May 14, 2022 3:33 pmThat fuse can only be shorted at the starter or alternator, anything in downstream circuits would be popping smaller links or fuses. Check your cables, and make sure the new battery is in the correct polarity. If you're trying to hook it up backwards, that's the link most likely to pop.
