Battery drain (open door light)

i have a 240sx se 93' and its open door light stays on and kills my battery. it just randomly started happening and now i cant even use my car cause it dies everytime. how do i fix this.

Open the door you should see the switch that makes the light come on when the door is open. there's a little screw in it. Take the switch out and figure out if the switch is faulty by pressing it in and seeing if the light goes off if the switch is bad then there's a clip in the back of it, just unplug the one that's bad and that should fix the light. Then next time you're at a junkyard pick another one up and then replace it.

well it was bein much more shady, so i just tested the altonater and FAIL!so i gotta new one, works great, a b**** to get in. thanks though.
