Daughter got a 2009 Rogue with 113,000 miles.
I have no idea about the condition/how old the alt, water pump, fuel pump, etc,.. are.

I plan to just replace everything so theoretically speaking, those parts should last 5 years or more (if I get a good brand).
I have a Chilton manual and it says if I disconnect the battery, I have 5 things that I need to perform the relearn procedure.
REALLY?

The windows, navigation, and radio stuff I don't care about, but the Idle Air Volume learning and Steering Angle Sensor position learning I would say is important.
The manual says the Steering Angle sensor Learning MUST be performed at a qualified facility. I find this hard to believe. Every time the battery dies, or I disconnect it because I need to do repair, I have to take it to the Nissan Dealer?

Surely, there is a shortcut without compromising quality!

News to me. Just for giggles here's a basic relearn procedure:

Start the car, put it in neutral and let it run for four minutes.
Next with engine still running (and foot on brake) shift into LOW gear and run for another four minutes.
Finally, take the car for a drive for at least 20 minutes at speeds over 35mph.

I have same year.

Disconnected battery numerous times, only thing I lose is my radio setup. Don’t even bother with that anymore.

Rogue runs great! :mike

Hope this is all there is to it!
So I can just let it sit for 4 mins at idle, then put in "D" with brakes on for 4 mins, then drive on highway for 20 mins?
The Rogue is automatic, I have to shift the gear to Manual and leave it in low?

I miss the OLD cars!

I gave the relearn procedure just for sh!ts and giggles.

Honestly like Casper said other than your radio, you shouldn't have to do anything special.
