Hi all,

I was recently doing some work on my 2010 2.5 Altima Coupe and disconnected the battery (black) cable just to be safe. After connecting it back, my auto-up on the window switch doesnt work. Up, down, and auto-down work fine, and everything else on the car seems OK as well..... any ideas as to whats the problem??

Thanks in advance,

you just have to reset it. iirc you just have to put your windows down and then up and hold for like 10 sec

Did you know you can roll up your windows from out side by simply putting the key in the hole and holding/twisting it to the left?

you can also roll them down by turning them to the right, and by holding down the unlock button on the keyfob :dblthumb:

i believe its part of the pre-install program code on your factory code.

I had this same problem and before I got forum savey I went to my local dealership to get it fixed. They tried to tell me I needed a new window motor and a door switch on both sides. I didn't go for it and just dealt with it until now, knowledge is power thanks for sharing everyone.

you can. But you have to buy a module or something. you can get it to roll up from the key fob, you can even get the sun roof to open with the key fob. you have to buy some module though.

I remember from like 2008 or maybe 2009... forgot the info but someone posted a youtube video showing it back then so maybe its still on youtube and they'd have more info

I also remember that. They also sold a module that would tilt the side mirrors down when the car was put in reverse. IIRC it was pretty expensive for such a simple feature though.

Don't mean to forum jack, but I'm new here too. I LOVE THIS FORUM! Can't believe I've had my car for two years and just getting into the forum scene. So much to learn!

The Fords do it too, at battery disconnect the body module loses some of its' presets, you have to reinstall them. Like with your radio.
