I went outside to put my new cat inside the car (not install it) and go to start the engine. The starter motor doesn't turn over. I turn the ignition to the on position and turn on the hi-beams. I can look directly into them lol. I checked the ground wire and the terminals and they are all in good condition. Any ideas?

most likely your battery has a dead cell, could also be the voltage regulator which is internal on S130's

That sucks. Cuz the battery is brand new. It's not a good brand but the dude I bought the car from said the battery was new.

Now I don't actually think it was my battery all along. I think my battery had died because of what you said, the voltage regulator. The car started yesterday when i hooked it up to someones 4 cylinder truck. I let it idle for a while to let the alternator do it's job and I didn't start the car again until tonight when I went to put in a whole new set of injector connector's. I tested it first by lifting the door handle so I could see if the keyhole light and interior lights would come on. I knew right away that I would have the same problem as yesterday when the lights never came on. I went inside, inserted the key in the ignition, turned it to "on". No accessories came on. I turned the key to start and the starter didn't click at all. So I'm sure I should just buy an all new alternator What do you gather?

well if you get it jump started again most parts stores like autozone will do a system yes for free, if you can't get a jump just take the battery up and they'll test it, most likely it's the battery

sounds like u have a paracitic load. charge up the battery then bust out the dmm (digital multimeter). with the car off and the meter connected in series with the positive battery terminal and the battery cable measure amerage from the battery. it should be no more than .05 or .07 amps.
