I have an 09 M35 Sport, when I have the engine off and just leave my music playing when I wash my car the battery dies after about 20-30min. I do have (2) 12" speakers in my trunk and I always have the ignition set to "ACC" not "ON", but I had these same speakers in my 1996 Nissan Altima before i got this car and it never died when I left my music playing with the engine off.

Is this normal? Is it because of all the electronics the M35 has on that is draining the battery or what? I took it to the dealer and they said my battery is fine. Can anyone help me on this?

OEM battery usually lasts about three years....that was the first sign of wear on mine... Couldn't jam to music with the car off for long periods of time... I replaced mine last year (11) and mines a 2008. I took it to the dealer and got a prorated credit came out to about $70 after the warranty coverage installed... Just get a new battery! If they tell you it's good and you are still under factory 4/60 bumper to bumper warranty tell them to FIGURE it out or just request another battery!! Your amp may be drawing alot of juice but, you are three years into the life of the battery so that could solve your problem!! :gotme good luck!
