Since I figure most RB guys relocated their batteries to the rear...where did you guys put a cut off switch to run at drag strips or other sanctioned racing events?

well if thats what your worried about, then check with your local events to what you need to do.

in AZ our track events (for the lower racing class) dont require anything. but our drag strip here says you need it outside the car

Well ya our one gay 1/8 track (our 1/4 closed and the closest one is 3 hours away) requires a switch out the outside of the car. I was gonna put it behind the plate but the way the bump is I cant get teh switch in there. I could do it under the car a little bit but I think it has to be in the back of the car somewhere. So I was curious where people put theirs (if anyone uses them).

Just be careful about where you place the cutoff switch. You usually can't hide them too well because that defeats the purpose of the switch. The track officials need to be able to find them quickly in the event of an accident. They are dumb to look at so I can appreciate your desire to want to put it under the car a little but if you don't pass tech, then it was pointless anyway. Just a thought.

Here's a picture of the cutoff button/switch on my car.

I guess more or less I dont care around looks more of people messing with it but I supposed I could just run the switch at the track and daily driving bypass the switch. Thanks for the help so far.
