I just bought a 95 240sx about 3 months ago. The battery went dead on me. The original battery that came with the car is 700 CA, 560 CCA with 280 load test. I have an extra battery that is 810 CA, 650 CCA witn 320 load test. Can I use this battery for my j240sx. What is the difference?Note: they are both AC Delco battery...Thanks

as far as i know of. . . as long as it fits in the engine bay then it'll work. . . just because it's capable of producing more aperage doesn't mean that your starter or any other electrical system will draw any more current. . .

As long as it is more than the minimum amperage to crank, which I think is something like 380, it will work just fine. Just be sure to secure it down tight and make sure your cables reach.

I figured I would just add this nice juicy bit of info...

My Blitz LM intercooler came with an extra set of battery hold down dealies that can be used on a battery that is about a third of the size of our normal batteries. As long as the cranking amps are at the minimum number, all is well...
