Ok... long story short... a/c compressor locked up a while ago causing the car to blow the fuse distribution block off the battery.
I replaced with Car Audio fuses... created a fuse block identical to what was there just using fuses I can replace.

I also put in a breakable 250A fuse that connects the main alternator/starter cable to the battery... as shown in pic:

So my question is, since the fuse pops causing the alternator to not charge, and when I look at the voltage it usually occurs when the battery is getting LOW (under 12.4 v - 11.8v vs the normal 12.8-13.2v) Should I remove the breaker altogether?

If I remove the breaker what potential damage can occur on that main line?

PS....
Alternator tested at three center and proves to produce accurate charge.

Battery is a deep cell marine battery (so it can take this abuse until I solve the issue)

Was the old bat swollen? What is the reason for the fuse between the bat and the alt? If you are getting a good charge from the alt then the only other thing left in the system is the bat. BAD CELL.

mentioned above:
" a/c compressor locked up a while ago causing the car to blow the fuse distribution block off the battery."

Vs buying a new fuse distribution block every time it popped (replacing EVERY fuse vs only the one blowing).
The old battery simply died and was non-chargeable after the issue with the a/c compressor.

I'm getting a good charge from the alternator but when the breakable fuse blows, this stops the charging. 90% of the time this happens while driving so I can't flip the breaker and when I stop the vehicle the battery will be dead because the car was running on the battery.

The only question I have at this moment is, will removing the breaker potentially cause any issues? I.E. running line straight from alt. and starter to batter with no fuse in between... good idea or bad idea?

And is there ANYTHING else that is connected to that main line that if there was a surge it would destroy it?
