Do all presets survive battery change?

I would be surprised if they did! When the dealer replaced my car battery, the noted all the settings and put them back later.

Before I changed the battery in my '03 M45, I asked the service advisor at my local infiniti dealer the question on lost codes. He implied that disconnecting the battery would lose codes so they leave the car running while switching batteries. Sears has a code memory unit they can attach that holds the codes. I checked with Sam's, Costco and a few others and they didn't even know such a unit was available! I bought my replacement battery at Sears and still have all the settings. Resetting all the codes would be a real pain.
