battery cable ends

My battery cables need new ends... of course the dealer doesn't stock that... they want 250 bucks per cable..

Local Pep Boys doesn't stock an end piece that will accomodate the accessory pack on the positive end...

Anybody ever done this before?

They don't stock them because they are built so well they never fail unless abused by owner............junk yard should be able to find a set for $100.

Don't need the cables...they are so damn thick..they can't break... it's the ends on the battery post..

The positive end wouldn't tighten enough...it's as if the metal got too thin...

Actually...Tech.. I am trying to get this thing in worthy enough shape to visit the mecca in Marietta.
