Yesterday my keychain wouldn't lock the doors but I could lock the doors using the button on the doors. The keychain would unlock the doors but wouldnt lock the door to make the horn beep. The yellow exclamation mark light was on the dash too but I put air in my tires so I thought that would fix it but this morning my battery is dead. I guess the yellowlight is something else besides air.

Thanks, 2011 Rogue SLAWD

You are kind of all over the place buddy....but I'll give this a go.

If your tires are low the TPMS light will come on. It's the one that looks a cross section of a tire.

As for the remote entry fob not working. That could be related to your car battery. Given you drive an 09 your battery being low/end-of-life is completely possible. I don't usually get more than 4 - 6 years out of one (if I don't do anything to it) here in STL.

you're spurting out thoughts, that are not related to one another, so its kinda hard to understand your chief complaint, and any subsequent complaints.

i too have a problem with the key fob not unlocking the doors easily(even when standing within arms reach of the car), but the remote will lock the car 30 yards away without a problem.(go figure). and both remotes do that. i have a fairly new battery, and the car is in good condition without any parasitic battery drains. i have changed the batteries in the remotes, to no avail. i have yet to come up with a reason for this malfunction.

regarding your claim of "battery being drained". did you test the car battery? how do you know its draining? what other malfunctions are you having, as in: starting, cracking, etc. when the car refuses to start, do the headlights turn on?(if so, are they as bright as normal?)

the tire pressure wont have anything to do with electrical issues. dont even try and assume it does. its stricly tire pressure.
