Seriously? This is what Hollwierd PD wastes time with? How many people got jacked, robbed, or killed while they were cuffin and stuffin the fat bat? At first it made me chuckle, but the more I think about it the more it pisses me off. I'm not mad at the cops and if you are thinking about posting some anti-police crap, move on; I won't tolerate it. I am mad at public officials who task cops to "fight this menace." If there really isn't anything else to do, I know where we can make some budget cuts Kalifornia.

exactly. Story sounds funny because guy is dressed like batman....

But if the headline was simply about police responding to disturbance calls regarding panhandlers would you really be complaining or notice it?

People called the police for a legitimate offense, and the police responded... What a waste of time right?

I've walked by that area hundreds of times and have never been asked for a tip. This is such a waste of the city's money and of course the news doesn't mind because it's another pointless story for them. I say leave the retards (not in a literal sense) alone!
