Well this guy bought my Euro 200SX gauge cluster about a month and a half back. Seemed like a decent guy, quick payment and good communication. Then, exactly one month after the sale, he up and files a chargeback against me. No email, no response to my emails, no reason to warrant this.

To sum it all up, he got all his money back and got to keep the cluster. Now I'm checking out ebay to see if there's any good buys and lo and behold...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem

That bastard has put it up for bids now, trying to pass it off as some rare NISMO gauge cluster

Just wanted to give you guys the heads up, DON'T BUY FROM THIS GUY.

Man...what a douche.

I was almost screwed on ebay once, too. A guy emailed me after the auction for my '86 Camaro ended and offered me a good price for it. So I said okay, and he said he would send a money order. After about a month I finally get the money and take it to the bank to deposit it, and its a fake money order. They caught it because real money orders are perferated (sp?) but this one was cut out. Then I couldn't do anything about it because it was only attempted fraud.

I emailed him also...

"What special edition S14 did this come off of? Could you tell me more about what is so special about this edition? Is this special edition faster? Will that gauge cluster make my car faster? Is this special edition really special at all? Is this Nismo gauge cluster in the Nismo parts catalog? Why can't I find it? Does the word jackass mean anything to you?"

That should annoy him just a little.

So how did he end up getting your gauge cluster for free in the first place? What kind of complaint did he file?

Dude, seriously, if you have access to both auctions and all communications, I would archive that sh1t and report that b@stard. Not to mention, if you have proof of shipping (like the receipt or tracking information) to verify that he still has the item in his possession along with the money. Nail his monkey @$$ to the wall!!!

He filed a chargeback against me one month after the auction ended, which seems to be when paypal's seller protection ends. Reason for filing was "unauthorized use of credit card, " which could mean one of several things. But I know this rat bastard did it on purpose.

Anyone in Florida want to pay him a visit? I have his apartment address...

Where in Florida? I'll be in Tampa like a week from Thursday on vacation, if it's less than an hour from where I'll be, I'll go punch him in the face for you.

What would be more effective is to have the ebayers of NICO email Customer Service Support instead. I mean 20K complaints of this eGayer should raise the company's eyebrows to investigate this matter ASAP.-----------------------------------

eBay Help: Contact Us

choose these options so you can fill out the form

1. Report problems with other eBay members2. Problems with sellers3. The problem with your seller isn't listed

-----------------------------------

i'll get the ball rolling:

To: eBay Customer Support From: ricebike Subject: The problem you're having with your seller isn't listed

7995036819

This member <djtruthug18> is committing fraud (@ least 2 counts).

1. He purchased the item from this listing: 7982987936 Used a false chargeback ~1 month later. Now, he has the money and the item!

2. He is now relisting it after ~3 months after the purchase from the original seller, but w/ misrepresentation. He's stating "JDM 240SX Gauge Cluster! Nismo Version !" when the original seller stated "S14 Silvia 240SX SR20DET German Gauge Cluster not JDM."

Please investigate & prosecute this member ASAP so that other members are protected from buying from this fraud.

Thank you for your prompt attention.----------------------------------------------

There, I did most of the work. Just cut n paste to the email form on their website & let the powaa of NICO bring this guy down!

How long ago did you originally sell him the cluster? You need to get a print screen of that auction for use as evidence.

Best idea. Let him deal with the trouble that you had to, not to mention those non-refundable seller fees.

Good idea. I'll be doing this when I get home from work. You guys think I should try and take this up with ebay? Or should I try paypal, since they are the ones through which the chargeback was filed?

There, I just got done emailing ebay. I hope by what we do that we F*&# him up! That was a nice gauge cluster though!I hate people that do stuff like that. I hope he gets booted off Ebay for good. By the way Spanish Ricer I love you S14, seriously sweet *** set up especially with that fat tire width. How did your friend hook up your tail lights like that. They look awesome! I want to get Kouki tails but I am thinking of tinting the middle piece on mine instead or doing something like yours and pocket the $400 for something better on my S14!

Oh yeah Almost forgot, here is what I sent Ebay!

This member <djtruthug18> is committing fraud (@ least 2 counts).

1. He purchased this item (# 7982987936)on June 23rd A month later used a false chargeback claiming unauthorized use of credit card. Now, he has the money and the item!

2. He is now reselling the item (item # 7995036819/start of listing is Aug 21st) 3 months after the purchase from the original seller, and the item description is also a misrepresentation. He's stating the item is a "JDM 240SX Gauge Cluster! Nismo Version !" when in fact it is an "S14 Silvia 240SX SR20DET GERMAN Gauge Cluster. It is neither JDM or made by NISMO (Nissan Motorsports). Please investigate & prosecute this member ASAP so that other members are protected from buying from this fraud.

Thank you from all of us affiliated with the NICO (Nissan/Infinity Car Owners Club of America) for your prompt attention.

Well Sergeant, all I did was sand the factory zenki lights down with some fine grain sandpaper, then taped off the lenses, used a razor to cut around the borders, primered, and them hit them with a couple coats of semi-gloss black paint.

Then I just wetsanded them until they were like glass and put on a couple coats of wax and sealant. Good to go

That fellow still hasn't responded to my emails regarding his robbing me of $150 and a gauge cluster...

Thanks SSgt, I need to find the thread that has your pics on it so I can check the pics again. I was always just tempted to spray the center with that smoke clear spray! Kind of ricey but I never could decide what to do about that ugly center piece. Some people paint theirs to match the car but I think that looks even worse!

Well I emailed both ebay and paypal with both auction numbers and explained what has happened. Hopefully they can clear things up here.

Has anyone actually emailed him regarding the item and got a response?
